Now don't get all up in arms if you are a rancher, farmer, construction worker, or someone else that actually has a need for a flatbed. Look, I get it, a flatbed is functional. Sure, go ahead a build a farm or job-site truck to haul bales of hay, cow crap, excavator buckets, generators, fencing, water pumps, or whatever. That's fine. But if you don't do any of that you don't need a flatbed and you shouldn't ruin your truck to get one. At that point it's just ugly for no real reason. There are plenty of cool and custom bed designs and aftermarket bedsides available to complete your truck rather than making it look half-built-hack with a flatbed. Flatbeds are the 4x4 enthusiast's admission to being too lazy to do it right.
