We were pleasantly surprised by the number of cool trucks and 4x4s at the Los Angeles Auto Show this week. Typically the show caters mostly to the green car crowd, which of course it still did. It is, after all, still Los Angeles. Anyway here are our favorites from the show.
The red dots point out a few of the things that make a Ford Raptor bad ass!
We love that Chevy still offers the monster Suburban for people with lots of gear or families the size of a Boy Scout troop. We hope it never goes away.
The 2013 Special 10th Anniversary Jeep Wrangler Rubicon has cool convertible bumpers (winch-ready up front), bigger tires, special red interior, and more!
This built, long-travel Ford Raptor goes to Barrett Jackson auction in Scottsdale, AZ, Jan. 13-20. NO RESERVE!!! Sick!
Who's a Ram Power Wagon fan? This one sports flat paint, a Mopar lift kit, and beadlock wheels among other things.
Mercedes stepping up the game with this G-Class Ener-G-Force concept SUV. To bad it's electric.
Import fans? Here is the Toyota Tundra that pulled the space shuttle Endeavour the final feet to its new home in Los Angeles.
Mopar pulled out the 2013 Sand Trooper Jeep Wrangler Unlimited sporting bolt-in Mopar portal axles and 42-inch tires. No suspension lift, stock coils!
If you wanna feel luxury, sit inside the new Range Rover. Very nice, but way outside our price range.
