Toby Harrel managed to knock out 50 pounds per tire! I picked up his spare and rolled the thing around. It felt like a much, much smaller and lighter tire. It should improve throttle and brake response significantly, not to mention that the tires wrap around imperfections like a wrinkle-wall drag slick. But he said he's "throwing the dice" and gambling, hoping that he won't need the durability that the extra rubber would have provided in the rocks. They are shaved to the cords in places...gambling indeed. Will it pay off?
