"Our car is running pretty well at sea level, and is now ready to start the tough tests. This is running the car in the vast dunes in northern Chile where the Dakar Racers suffer every year, and some rocky trails full of mud, snow and wet logs in southern Chile.
In a couple of months, the snow covering the Central Andes will disappear, and we will be able to test the car at heights exceeding 4.500m (15.000ft) , where the mix of high altitude, lose ground and volcanic rocks, create a kind of “moon surface” terrain very similar to what you find at very high altitudes.
The expedition is planned to take place at the end of the first quarter 2013, which gives us enough time to acclimatize and tune the car for the expedition. In the meantime, with the support of the Chilean Government, we are collecting the funds and sponsorships needed for this amazing adventure, where you are all welcome to participate!!!"
