For a few years back in the 1980s, we published a biannual spinoff magazine devoted to monster trucks, called (you guessed it) Monster Trucks. At the time, it was fairly popular with readers, and one issue was even nominated for a Maggie Award (like the Oscars, for magazines), but it never caught on with advertisers, and we pulled the plug on it after seven issues. Those who were lucky enough to snag a copy of Monsters V were treated to a bound-in build-it-yourself Bigfoot model that you could cut out and construct using our easy-to-follow instructions (right). After all these years, we thought this just deserved to be shared, so if you've ever wanted to build your own monster/show truck, hey, now's your chance, so print out the pages, grab a pair of scissors, and let your creativity run wild.
