The Ram Truck Brand has announced that you can now get a factory-installed spray-on bedliner on 2010 Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500 pickup trucks.

This optional bedliner will be available on all trim levels, all cab sizes, and all bed lengths.  It will have a 3-year, 36,000 warranty.  This new spray-on bedliner has a number of benefits over a drop-in bedliners including a 10-pound weight savings; a reduction in NVH; chemical and abrasion resistance; and improved in-bed traction.  Chrysler group says they have extensively tested its spray-on bedliners for UV stability and surface adhesion.  The protective material is sprayed to a standard thickness of 3mm on horizontal surfaces- including the tailgate- and 2mm on vertical surfaces.

The option will have an MSRP of $450.
