It's official.

German racer, Armin Schwarz beat the entire Trophy Truck field in his AGM Class 1 buggy. With a time of 3:59:48 Schwarz and his co-driver, Marten Christensen, killed the brutal 248 mile race course, besting the fastest Trophy Truck by nearly five minutes. A class 1 overall win is unusual in Baja, but not unheard of, especially with an acomplished driver such as Schwarz at the wheel.

I was along side the course for this years race, and I was impressed to see several class 1 cars amongst the trophy trucks at the 90 mile mark and then again at the 195 mile mark.

Here are a few other shot I got on Saturday.

Enjoy.

When the first Trophy Truck came through, the fans went crazy!
Mastercraft Safety lost a tire at Zoo Road, luckily nobody got hurt.
At Race mile 90, Jesse Jones was running in 2nd place overall
