Stover's Sammy

Could this be Four Wheeler's next project rig?

I've always had a soft spot for Suzuki vehicles.

With healthy aftermarket support, Samurais are inexpensive to build, fun to wheel, and easy to store when not in use.

Last weekend, a buddy of mine called me and said he had a good running Sammy for sale.

I told him I'd come check it out.

Aside from a few minor dents and dings, it looked pretty clean.

He wanted $350 bucks.

I couldn't pass it up.

Under the hood, the vehicle looked to be in pretty good shape

It needs a new soft top, a new radiator and some new seats. But otherwise, she's a strong runner.

I'm thinking a rock crawler for cheap build is in order.

What do you think?

Got any catchy project vehicle names you think would fit?

The oil filter was new, that was a good sign.

The front bumper has a dent in it, but that would be replaced promptly if we decided to build it.
