We were recently introduced to a new product from Mothers, Foaming All Wheel & Tire Cleaner. They claimed that this new non-acidic formula will quickly remove road grime, brake dust, and old tire shine goo with only water so naturally we had to try it out on a nasty dirty off-road tire.
After a weekend in the desert the 35" Nitto Terra Grapplers on our tow rig F-150 we're looking especially grimy. Nasty brake dust from stopping our trailer and caked on desert dirt are par for the course after a good weekend and getting it off has always been difficult, until now.
The Mothers Foaming All Wheel & Tire Cleaner works fast, real fast. Here are the directions as listed on the bottle...
1. Spray liberally onto a cool tire/wheel.
It's that easy. And since this new cleaner is a 'spot free' formula there is no need to dry your wheels either! Too good to be true you say? Nope, this is quite possibly the best tire/wheel cleaner we have ever used. Though there is one catch. Mothers may not have been specifically thinking of the off-road guys when they developed this product and decided how much to put in the bottle. One bottle cleaned 3 1/2 35" off-road tires. Yea. When applied per the directions, liberally, we went through an entire bottle and then some to clean our four tires.
