Got an electric cooling fan on your rig?  Well, the folks over at Ron Francis Wiring have introduced the Electric Cooling Fan Shutdown Kit.

Why would you need this?  Well, they note that if your electric fan is not turned off, it will actually decrease airflow through the radiator at highway speed.

The Ron Francis Electric Cooling Fan Shutdown Kit automatically shuts off your vehicles electric cooling fan above 50 to 60 mph to let the air flow through the radiator and improve engine cooling at highway speed.  "In vehicle testing, we've seen a 10-degree drop in engine temperatures while operating above 60 mph," says company founder Ron Francis.

The unit is fully adjustable and it includes an override switch.  Speed is recognized by a signal generator that goes into the speedometer cable.

The complete kit lists for $179.95.  More info, go to: www.ronfrancis.com, and search part number CS-07.
