Lokar has come up with a cool pair of products that solve a problem.  Their patented locking flexible transmission dipstick and engine dipstick have been designed with a quick release locking handle that locks the dipstick in place, so even if you find yourself upside-down in your rig, they will not leak. 

The transmission dipstick design provides a bolted-in, sealed pan fitting and a quick release mechanism for quick transmission swaps.  It also has a larger filler tube that accepts standard transmission funnels, making filling the transmission a breeze.  Both dipstick setups are made from 6061 aluminum and include a Teflon-lined stainless steel-braided outer housing and a flexible inner dipstick measuring cable.

Transmission dipsticks are available for most GM, Ford, and Chrysler vehicles and engine dipsticks are available for most engine applications.  Transmission dipsticks are available in firewall mount, transmission mount, and direct mount.  All are available in brite, black, red, or blue anodized finishes.
