Ford says orders for their rockin' new F-150 Raptor are topping expectations.
In a press release that went out yesterday, Ford says that they have received more than 5,300 orders, and this figure tops their initial sales expectations. They say orders are coming in from all over the U.S., including stronger than expected demand in the Midwest and Southeast.
The 2010-model F-150 Raptor with the 5.4-liter engine (320hp and 390 lb-ft of torque) is now on sale and production of an all-new 6.2-liter engine (411hp and 434 lb-ft of torque) begins this spring. Want the 6.2L-powered Raptor? Ford says the order banks are now open!
The F-150 Raptor is the first ever high-speed off-road performance truck offered by any manufacturer.
