Well, in case you're wondering, the winner of next week's 2010 Griffin King of the Hammers gets handed $15,000. That's a pretty sweet deal. Ten grand of that comes from KOH and five grand comes from BFGoodrich. BFG is also giving the new King the offer of an eight tire contract for their 2010 racing efforts. But that's not all. The folks at Torchmate CNC Cutting Systems will hand over a Thermal Dynamics plasma cutter, Hand Torch Holder, Routing Package, Torchmate CAD software, and BobCad 3D Software. All total these goodies total over $7,250. Wait, not done yet. There's also $33,700 available to pick up in contingency.
You may not know it, but there's also a Pit Bull Tires UTV King of the Hammers race. Here's the kicker: The winner of this race gets $5,000, which KOH says is the largest purse in the history of UTV racing.
