King Off-road Racing Shocks has big plans for the epic fourth annual running of the King of the Hammers race held in Johnson Valley California, February 8th through the 13th, 2010. Part Desert Race, part Rock Race the event runs several of the toughest rock crawling trails in Johnson Valley known as "the Hammers" back to back as well as several miles of punishing desert terrain. Competitors will be tested to the extreme having to conquer the worst of both disciplines. The King of the Hammers event is touted as the toughest one-day off-road race on the planet. The King Shocks support team will no doubt feel right at home under these conditions.

Contingency award requirements for 2010 King of the Hammers race.

In order to qualify for the $4000.00 dollar King of the Hammers winners’ bonus you must fulfill the following requirements:
To be eligible for the $4000.00 bonus drivers must win and be crowned King of the Hammers in the 2010 King of the Hammers race with King shocks and only King shocks damping each suspended wheel. Bonus is for the overall race winner only, not the UTV race or last chance qualifier.
To be eligible for the $4000.00 bonus you must display King Shocks supplied decals in the designated areas on the vehicle at all times during the competition. Driver of record and the race vehicle must stop at King Shocks booth and completely fill out contingency forms and have decals verified when vehicle goes through contingency/ tech inspection.
Eligible vehicles must have King Shocks decals visible on shock reservoirs during the competition.
To be eligible Drivers/passengers must consent to the use of your likeness, including voice and image in King Shocks advertising, press releases and website content.
Bonus winner will receive a presentation check in the winner’s circle at KOH. The actual bonus check will be mailed to the winner following the event.
