Last weekend I tagged along with some friends to the San Benito County Fair. Once there, I realized I was in for a treat. It was Saturday night, and that meant the annual truck pulls were going to take place. These particular truck pulls bring in challengers from all over the state of California. The locals of nearby Hollister, California were the most well-represented, but even with more than 80 trucks in four separate categorizes, the evening was over in record time. Check it out:

Starting at 4:00 sharp, the folks who organize the truck pulls for the San Benito County fair really kept a tight ship this year. Action was consistent as the staff kept the pulls happening to the tune of 20 trucks per hour. Here are a few of the highlights.

Mark Cereli showed-off he 740-hp big-block-powered Chevy pickup.
This $200,000.00 tube-chassis Dodge Ram wowed the crowd with a spectacular full-pull
Former TTC competitor and Hollister local Chris Smith proved that even Rock Crawlers can do well in truck pulls.
Mike Bleck of M&J Trucking brought out his 2007 Unimog complete with mower attachment. Mike won first place in the pro-modified class. Weighing more than 24,000-lbs didn't hurt.
