In a word, stout. This mighty Class 7 T300, while not terribly 'wheelable in its current form, boasts a stockpile of bombproof goodies for the would-be Top Truck builder. For starters, check out the 7.2L Caterpillar B-series inline-six, which is good for some 300 hp and 550 ft-lb of torque. Need more beef? Well, backing the motor is a bad-boy Mack/Maxitorque 10-speed grindbox, and for good measure, all that low-end goodness gets transferred to a 23,000-pound rear axle. Arvin-Meritor, baby, that's what I'm talkin' 'bout! (The front axle is no slouch either, what with a 12,000-pound rating, a good thing to have when your rig is sporting a 33,000-pound GVW. That's 16 tons of load-bearing goodness, with an extra grand thrown in for good measure.) Add on a 26-foot box and we've got ourselves a rig that's ready for hauling whatever cargo our wicked little hearts desire. Heck, we might even actually use ours for moving somewhere, one of these days. Anyway, you can put in your bid right here, but be warned---you've got some stiff competition.
