Getting Dirty in Northern Virginia

Today the Big Dogs 4x4 Club annual Main Jamboree started near the sleepy little town of Gore, Virginia.

And lucky for you, we we're present to cover the activities for a future story in Four Wheeler.

Gore is located just outside of Winchester, which is situated in the North Western corner of Virginia.

The event has been happening for 16 years now, and attracts wheelers from as far away as North Carolina.

This morning, more than 150 Jeeps, pickups, and SUVs hit the trail at the Cove Campgrounds, a 6,000 acre facility that offers more than 56 unique trails of all skill levels.

Everything from mud bogs, to hill climbs, to rock crawls make the privately-owned wheeling-paradise a virtual mecca for dirt worshipers.

Here are just a few of the may shots I captured today while on the trail.

Enjoy!
