The days events started with qualifying.

Carl Renezeder put down the fastest time of the whole field.

His performance earned him a mid-pack starting position in the first round of Unlimited 2 races.

Here you can see Renezeder starting out in the first round in the #6 position.

By the end of the first lap, Renezeder had picked his way into 2nd place.

He continued to battle it out with others in the field, but with 2 yellow flags, his well-earned gap kept getting closed.

As the final laps approached, Carl was leading and it was clear that his only challenger, Greg Adler, would not have the power and traction to overtake Carl's position.

When the checkered flag dropped on round one, it was another win for team General Tire.
