Here are more photos and info of the newly-unveiled 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Inside there's soft-touch interior materials, real wood and leather, heated steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, Passive Entry/Keyless Go, and a ParkView rear back-up camera among other things. There's also larger front- and rear-door openings and increased rear-seat knee and leg room.
Placed for easy control on the center console is the new Selec-Terrain switch. This switch offers five terrain settings: Auto, Sand/Mud, Sport, Snow and Rock.
The new Grand offers increased cargo volume (36.3 cubic feet) and this provides 17 percent more room than the current model. The cargo area also has removable dual storage bins and a power rear liftgate with remote up/down.
The new Grand has a wheelbase that is 5.3 inches longer than the model it replaces, but the vehicle is only 1.8 inches longer in overall length.
The standard engine is an all-new, aluminum DOHC 3.6L V-6. It makes 280 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque. The 5.7L Hemi with MDS is optional.
