Because nobody wants to be in the wrong gear.

Got a Wrangler JK with big honkin' rubber and stock axle gears? You know the feeling---the lugging, the lurching, the wheezing of a gutless 3.8L V-6 straining to move those bigger, heavier donuts with no help from the drivetrain, killing performance and mileage to boot. Not a pretty picture, is it? Well now, your worries are over!

You see, the folks at Poly Performance have got the answer---new ring and pinion gears in a 5.38:1 ratio for Jeep Wrangler JK models, an optimum ratio for tires 37 inches and taller. Complete Installation Kits are available, including all shims, nuts, sleeves and other components to properly install both front and rear gear sets. The ring and pinion sets are compatible with stock and popular aftermarket lockers. Other gear ratios and applications will be available in the near future. Each ring and pinion set is forged of high-strength 8620 steel, then CNC-machined throughout with extra lapping for a central contact pattern and smooth, quiet operation. The computer controlled heat treatment process helps to ensure a long life and outstanding quality assurance. Want more info? Log onto Poly Performance's Website to find out more.
