A stout replacement for worn-out Jeeps.

Our good friends at Advanced Clutch Technology (ACT) have a new performance clutch kit and components for 1965-2002 Jeep V-8s and Straight 6 Sixes. And heck, that's a lot of Jeeps!

The new clutch kit for the '87-'01 Grand Cherokee, '93-'02 Cherokee, '83-'91 Comanche, and '65-'02 CJ/Wrangler applications. What do you get? How about a heavy-duty pressure plate that incorporates hardened diaphragm fingers for decreased wear and provides a 37% increase in clamp force over the stock unit?

But wait, there's more: The ACT Street Clutch Kit combines the pressure plate and a Performance Organic Disc, a disc that features special performance organic friction materials to withstand increased heat and abuse, steel backed linings for high burst strength and modifications engineered for quicker shifting. And it can hold up to increased torque of up to 530 lb-ft. You can find out more about it by clicking here.
