If you've got a new Tacoma, that is.
Our good amigos at Rostra Precision Controls have got a brand-new custom Cruise Control available for the 2009 Toyota Tacoma. Thank you, Santa!!
Rostra's Tacoma Cruise Control allows drivers to set speed, coast/reduce speed and resume/accel, while advanced features of the kit include a function for adjusting speed in 1mph increments as well as a controlled resume rate.
"Our Tacoma drive-by-wire cruise control is available for the four-cylinder automatic model and works by plugging into the truck's electronic control module," said Sibyl Ringsdorf, manager of marketing and national accounts, Rostra Precision Controls. "Outfitting these pickups with cruise control can help drivers decrease excessive speeding and harsh acceleration or deceleration with the flip of a switch." Hey, we're all over that like a cheap suit. For the skinny on this cool Yule gift for the Taco-head in your family, click here.
