Every once and a while a rig comes along that changes the way we think. In the area of propelling a motorized vehicle over terrain not much has changed for decades. Sure common folks have electric/gasoline hybrids, but we in the 4-wheeling community haven't seen much innovation as of yet.
What started as a simple weekend garage project has one Central California resident staking out his claim to fame in the 4x4 history books. His build up is a bit different than most. You see the chassis is constructed completely from stainless steel and the suspension is independent all the way around. Movement is handled by four hydraulic motors that are fed by a massive hydraulic pump. The pump is connected to a Nissan I-6 gasoline engine...
