A few short weeks ago Trailhugger was holding down the carpet in the GM booth at SEMA. It was as gussied up as it gets, with tire dressing and everything. Now that it's back at the Midwest Bureau we've been having a blast with it. We've had alot of snow here already this winter in northern Illinois, so naturally we figured hitting the fence rows for some drift bashing would be alot of fun. It was.
It hasn't all been fun 'n games though, Trailhugger has been called upon to haul us to numerous photo assignments in foul weather. Here are a few photos taken yesterday in Lake Delton, Wisconsin. Trivia: You may remember that Lake Delton drained last summer after it blew out a retaining wall during heavy rains. These photos were taken after driving several hours in a snowstorm while on our way to Burnsville Off Road in Burnsville, Minnesota. The front end of the truck was plastered in snow and ice, and the temps were falling fast as a cold front blew through the area. As usual the H3 Alpha carried us and out gear surefootedly, safely and without complaint.
