Here's an oldie but goodie that happened in the mid to late 90's.  I think.  If I remember correctly, a suspension part, maybe a 4-link bar, broke on the Bigfoot truck as it was accelerating toward the crushed cars during racing at the Fall Jamboree in Indianapolis.      

The truck veered just enough to hit the cars in such as a way that a roll was unavoidable.  And it all happened so fast the driver didn't have time to scrub off some speed.  Here's the complete sequence.
