Old-school Cummins boys, get stallin'! . . .

Our good amigos at TCI Automotive, long renowned for performance transmission building, have just offered this new low stall-speed torque converter (p/n 142264) for the 47RE and 48RE transmissions backing the '95-and-later 5.9L Cummins turbodiesel I-6. The new piece is said to be a direct drop-in for the stock unit, and the stator is said to drop stall speed, reduce slippage and help increase fuel mileage. The converter's multi-disc lockup clutch should help improve performance and longevity, and with an engine that cranks out peak toirque around 1,600 rp, you wanna keep that stall speed as low as you can. Anywho, you can find out more about this hot new product either by calling 888/776-9824 or by clicking here for all the details.
