It's that time of year again.
We pack our bags and head off to the place where anything goes and nothing returns, at lease the same.
This time I'm towing our project Teal Brute from Los Angeles with my buddy's '89 Chevy 2wd pickup.
Our Carson trailer has done this trip many times, which gives me great confidence, however the tired 5.7L small block in my friends pickup is doing quite the opposite. On the way down from Ukiah, California where The Brute was being prepped, the engine ran a little hot. This morning I put a bottle of Water Wetter in to see if I could help prevent a boilover. I'm hoping I don't end up sitting on the side of I-15 waiting for an overworked gas engine to cool down. We'll see...
