This specific vehicle is based on a 2005 Unimog U-500 4x4.  Its features include a 6.4L Mercedes-Benz diesel engine; transmission with 16 forward and 12 reverse gears; 154-inch wheelbase; 31.7-foot turning radius; 110-gallon total fuel capacity and more can be added; air brakes; front and rear diff lockers; and 21 and 22 inches of front and rear axle clearance, respectively.

The living area is utterly amazing.  This model has all the amenities you'd expect including 131-gallon fresh water capacity, Cherry cabinets and an array of appliances and televisions.  All in an ultra-rugged package.  Following are some images of the interior of the vehicle.

These vehicles look to be the last word in off-highway-capable motorhomes.  The research and development and the materials used indicate that Global Xpedition Vehicles has done their homework.  For more info go to www.globalxvehicles.com and learn more.
