It has always been suggested that us editors eat well on the road, but is this really the case...?
Take, for example, tonight's meal of steak, garlic mashed potatos, BBQ baked beans and salad with a little Dr. Pepper chaser, a fine meal for sure but well over our company's mandated per diam, so this picture was taken at someone else's table.
Instead, we feasted on stale bread and water to quench our dusty throats and fill our growling guts.
So please remeber us poor hungry editors when you are scarfing down your filet mignon and drinking your expensive wines on your next expedition and remember what we go through to bring you a good story.
