Apologies to Brubaker, but today's fire sale comes from a highway outside of Moab, Utah, where a staff member clicked this photo of a, er, disabled rig while en route home from a week of wheeling at Easter Jeep Safari back in 2004. We're still not sure what these fellas are looking for on that flatbed---a fire extinguisher? A cell phone?---but judging by the photo, we'd reckon it was a bit late to salvage the truck. But either way, it's a reminder to keep our engines in the proper state of tune, to regularly check underhood hoses, fittings and electrical connections for signs of wear . . . and keep a fresh fire extinguisher in the cab, always!
