I'm not a gamer, but there is something appealing about virtual racing through the desert like a madman with absolutely no fear of hitting or breaking anything while sitting in a comfy chair drinking Coke.
With that said, when a press release crossed my desk about the new THQ video game called "Baja: Edge of Control" I actually paid attention. According to the information provided, the game, for PS3 and 360 consoles, brings the definitive off-road racing experience with the largest unpredictable terrains in the most realistic off-road racing game ever created. Whoa. The game lets you build and then race BFG tire-shod machines in a variety of environs and ya even get to stop at several BFGoodrich Tires pit areas while racing to upgrade the "macines."
By the looks of the screen shots they provided the graphics look pretty cool. All in all, Baja: Edge of Control looks like it could be fun. I mean really, wheeling a Trophy Truck full-on without being violently shaken until your appendix explodes? That's what I'm talking about.
