Twenty years with a camera glued to my left eye has left me with tens of thousands of photos. Some of these images are of crazy crashes and other unfortunate events involving four-wheel-drive vehicles. Uh, and maybe even a rental car or two. With that said, I figured I'd trot out a new weekly blog series called the "Yard Sale of the Week." Yep, it'll be fun. You'll get to see some crashes, close calls and other automotive screw-ups and it'll be one less day I have to think of something to blog about.
See this thing? It's an Epson Perfection 4490 Photo scanner and its my new bestest buddy in the whole wide world because most of the images in my archives are slides and they have to be scanned. Yes, I'm that old. I used to develop black and white film in my kitchen.
I've already spent hours in my barn sorting through hundreds of images stored in storage bins just to get a few weeks of material for the Yard Sale. Which, by the way, will post every Wednesday. That's the day I've found I'm most likely in the office and not on the road.
So next Wednesday the Yard Sale of the Week will launch will a full sequence of the monster truck crash you see above. This is the most violent monster truck crash I've ever seen to this day and it deserves to be first.
