Incredible. There's no other word to describe the 2nd day of the Fall 4-Wheel Jamboree. Outstanding weather (well, right up to the late day deluge of rain anyway, but who cares about that?), massive crowds and insane, we're talking totally insane, number of four-wheel-drives.
We shot so much stuff today it made our head spin. Figuratively speaking of course. Here's some of the craziness we saw today.
We saw a strong number of 4WD conversions like this 'ol timer. Volkswagons, Mustangs and other were also rolling on 4WD.
In the world of beefy bumpers this homemade monster is king. We can't help but wonder what it weighs.
We ran into Scott Morris (shown), one of this year's TTC competitors. He was at the show representin' his business SunFire Off Road. We also saw TTC competitor Jeremy Naeger from Custom Differentials.
The Performance Marketplace was rockin'. 4Wheel Parts was one of the companies that had scores of tires on hand for instant delivery.
Speaking of tires, this gent said he bought these five used tires for only $50 from another 'wheeler. We'd say he's a savvy shopper.
This is what happens when a sheriff's deputy paints. This is cleary camo to the next level. It took the trucks owner, Hancock County deputy Russell Silver, over 80 hours to paint.
This was just one of the main roads in the afternoon. It was clear that the Indy Jambo is still the King of all Jambos, bar none.
In the infield there was diesel truck pulling and there were a slew of competitors.
We dug this Rat Rod-inspired old Dodge at the Cherry Bomb booth. It's fitted with a ground-pounding 528ci V-8 and a Viper transmission.
And last but not least, this could be the deal of the weekend. A totally tricked-out, ready-to-trail TJ with a 5.0L engine for only $16,500.
Yep, the show is on again tomorrow, so if you're down with some crazy Indy action, GET HERE!
