Not only do I have the shirt, but I also won two tickets to Sunday’s game, my Halos vs. the Bronx Bombers (except now Bomber means “My Once World Championship And Elite Caliber Team sucks enough to be beaten handily by Boston and the Freakin’ Tampa Bay Rays).

So as many of you know I am a HUGE Angels fan and with the recent acquisition of Mark Teixeria we have basically cemented our run for the post season, and some say World Series, but like Mike Sciocsia, I am not going jinx our mighty 13 game lead in the AL West or our record as the best team in baseball. This year is our turn, and if we didn’t put the league on notice in our last road trip where we decimated the East, I don’t know what more it will take – oh yeah a championship.

Despite not losing an AL series since May, the national press seems suspect of our team, but that’s okay, they did it in 2002 and look what happened then. If we can get to the series, I am not sure what NL team will stand in our way…

The Angels are here and with an awesome young team supplemented by an order that features Tex, Vladdy, Torii, and GA, we’ll be here for some time to come. So gets used to it!

Anyway, thanks to an AT&T sweepstakes, you can find me at Sunday’s game forsaking my standard Angels jersey for the Yankee’s shirt in section 133, Row W, seats 121 and 122 (just down from our normal seats). Come by and say “hi” if you will be there cheering for the red! Maybe I’ll even buy you a beer (domestic only, gimme a break I am a lowly underpaid magazine guy).
