Rick Pewé – my friend and illustrious leader of our sister publication Petersen’s 4Wheel & Off Road recently attended the media launch of the 2009 Hummer H3T with me, where he immediately took to breaking the law, much to the chagrin of Fresno, California authorities.

Yes that’s right, Petersen’s editor Rick Pewé, who has been overheard in the past criticizing the power of the H3, was recently cited for going 51mph in a 40mph zone within a miniscule 500-feet of our starting point. Rick is hereby on notice that he can no longer write about the 3.7L I-5 engine’s lack of performance now there is official proof it can exceed the posted speed limit.

In all fairness to Rick, it was the much faster manual transmission model – in red.
