The folks over at Warn just introduced the Endurance 12.0 winch and it has some very cool (no pun intended) features.

The Endurance 12.0 is designed for those who require a long duty cycle out of their winches (ie: long, hard pulls).  As a matter of fact, Warn says it has the longest duty cycle on the market.  And, bonus day, the fastest line speed in its class too.  This mid-frame-design unit has 12,000 lbs. of pulling capacity, a high-speed three-stage planetary geartrain, 80 feet of 3/8 diameter wire rope, remote, fan activation switch, separate control box, durable glossy-black powdercoated finish and many stainless steel hardware parts.

One of its most innovative features is a forced-air cooling system.  The specially-designed cooling fan (which is remotely mounted under the vehicles hood) automatically turns on when the winch's motor reaches a certain temperature.  It can also be manually activated.  The fan sends air through a hose running into the winch's motor housing, which cools the motor.  The air then flows out of the motor housing via a second hose and the air is discharged.

Yet another revolutionary winch from Warn.  More info?  Hit www.warn.com.
