This weeks fiery photo is of veteran mud racer Gary Osteen and his "Dirty Bird."  

This image was shot at a 4-Wheel Jamboree in the mid-90's in either class 5 or 6 racing.  From a photo standpoint the conditions couldn't have been better to capture a flameout like this.  It was mega dark and rainy so the very quick flash of fire was very visible.  The effect would've been far less dramatic had it been sunny.
