What else does the truck builder need to fabricate in a home shop?

Optical Centerpunch

Optical Centerpunch: This tool helps you pin-point the exact center of a piece of material and make a small indent for drilling a hole. Any fabricator with good attention to detail would love this little guy.

Press brake

Press brake: A press brake is one of the larger, more costly tools to own around the shop. However if you got one you can pretty much bend anything out of flat steel plate. Skid plates, body parts, brackets, and rocker guards all can be acomplished easily with this tool.

Band saw

Band Saw: This one is very essential if you plan to do any detail work. This tool allows you to cut metal into shapes by hand.
