Got a new clean diesel pickup?  Tired of wasting all that fuel cleaning the trap?  Put it to use doing other work.....

On a last minute camping trip last Friday, I stopped for some "manifold" burritos to make dinner prep easy, but as I parked our long term F-350 for the night I noticed that the idle revs climbed up to 1200, meaning the truck was heating up the diesel particulate filter in order to burn off the accumulated soot.  During this procedure the EGT can climb up to 517 degrees F at the exhaust tip.  I thought why not put the burritos right on top of the outlet, rather than even bothering to pop the hood.  Result: Toasty hot tri-tip burritos in mere minutes.   Mmmm.
