Friday was setup day at the Springfield 4-Wheel Jamboree and as we mentioned in a previous blog we rolled into the Illinois State Fairgrounds just in time for yet another Midwest thunderstorm that dumped buckets of rain.  Preparations for the weekend had to continue rain or not and the Hall Brothers Racing Team continued washing their rig as the rain fell. 

Ryan from Special Events summed up his feelings about the rain as he took a break from hanging banners.

The Illinois State Fairgrounds is a huge location located in north Springfield.

Some folks got to the show early to stake out a good spot for their rig.  This old IH pickup got one of the prime locations.

Mickey Thompson had their rig all set up and ready for the weekend.  Look at that rain!

The folks from 4Wheel Parts had their display all set up before the rain fell too.
