We would LOVE to show you some of the photos we took today of the Springfield 4-Wheel Jamboree spooling up for action this weekend, but for some reason our blogging software's ability to upload photos is AWOL. So we may not be able to post images today, but we ARE here in Springfield! For real! Just getting to Springfield was an adventure due to heavy thunderstorms. When we got to the Illinois State Fairgrounds a new round of thunderstorms was just rolling in. It didn't take long for the skies to open up once again, dousing the Special Events ops crew as they readied the fairgrounds for this weekends four-wheel-drive event. It looks to be a good show and we saw a number of manufacturers already set up in the Performance Marketplace. We also saw a bunch of rigs populating the Show 'n Shine area, including a way cool old International four-door pickup. Tomorrow's weather looks to be better! And as promised we're here with TRAILHUGGER, our project H3 Alpha. We just bolted on the new Gobi Stealth rack, so stop in and say hi!
