Well, it is not all gloom and doom on the truck market today . . .

Toyota, for one, is zooming full speed ahead with a new set of performance options for its Tundra and Tacoma models, which are now being offered with a dealer-installed "Ironman" special-edition package.

Named for Baja legend Ivan "Ironman" Stewart, the Ironman Tundra will boast a supercharger underhood (a TRD creation, no doubt) that's said to pump horsepower and torque levels on the 5.7L V-8 to 504 and 550 lb-ft, respectively. Other cool gear you can get on your Ironman truck includes Bilstein shocks, Magnaflow cat-back, Hella lights, and a Hurst pistol-grip shifter. Hey, sign us up for a test drive already!

Taco owners, you've not been neglected. An Ironman package will also be offered on the Tacoma and FJ Cruiser too that'll squeeze 300+ hp outta that 4.0L V-6. Yee-heee!!!

According to our souces, you can puchase the Ironman package complete (estimated price: $20 grand), or you can select the components individually at your local Toyota dealer.
