Time to roll up our sleeves and work to preserve our favorite trails . . .

Last month, we told you about Restoration Rescue, a new program aimed at promoting responsible land-use management, maintenance and education from our good friends at Hummer and Tread Lightly! More than $25,000 in grants will be awarded by Hummer during the course of the year to help ‘wheelers around the country to preserve their trails, and this year’s first dates have been announced:

June 21: Ocala National Forest.

July 29: Sierra National Forest

But Hummer and Tread Lightly can’t do it alone---they need the help of volunteers throughout the off-road community to make this program a success. So if you’d like to participate in one of these events, send 'em a line at treadlightly@treadlightly.org, and they’ll fill you in on location and directions. Now get on out there and help to keep your favorite wheelin’ spots open!
