Day Two of the rally (and our first) kicked off in the town of Hillsboro Oregon at 10am in the morning. With all the competitors lined up and Travis Pastrana leading the pack they set off for the first stage, which conveniently enough was set up right there in the part behind the hotel they were staging at so we were able to watch them all fly through Stage 1.
After stage one was complete we booked it to the only other spectator spot for today's portion of the rally. It was deep in the woods about 40 miles outside of town. From there we were able to watch one corner... that was it. Still cool though. There should be some better spectating tomorrow, we hope.
So why Evo Chasing you ask? Well, simply, since we have been here we have seen two. That's it. One Evo 8 on the highway and the other Evo 10 shown in the photo. But we have seen about 100 Subaru's. We'll continue to hunt for Evo's tomorrow. (oh, and the good rally shots will come later, time for sleep not editing... ;-) )
