Well as I said yesterday we were heading up to Portland Oregon in a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X to check out the "Oregon Trail Rally" and I am now glad to report that we have made it, safe and sound. (as if you cared, really)
Yup, it's late (almost midnight here) and we are all exhausted. The drive from our World Headquarters in Los Angeles California kicked off at 5:00 am and we rolled into our hotel near Portland Oregon at 9:00 pm... 16 hours later. Our trip consisted mostly of stopping for gas (small tank and fair economy equal many stops) and listening to our Cobra radar detector beep, buzz, and ring.
In the 16 hours we were on the road we stopped for gas five times, for an average of 20.5 MPG, consumed at least four cans of Brawndo (the thirst mutilator), killed at least 500 innocent bugs, and were only stopped by one admirer (at a gas station in Oregon (did you know they don't let you fill your own tank here? Weird)).
