It was blazing hot today at the Southeastern Jambo in Anderson, South Carolina, and the predicted rain stayed away so it was all good. So what were the highlights? Well first, a docile Tough Truck course managed to claim a victim anyway when this XJ barrel-rolled.
There were several classes of NMRO mud racing and we caught the Class 5 competition. The drivers worked the 100-foot course for all it was worth.
The Avenger monster truck showed why he's the national champion of freestyle with a wheelie down the main stretch.
The warm weather brought out the CROWDS. And this mega-tall Toyota Tundra.
We met a lot of friendly people today.
So what kind of RIGS did we see? Well, a vast variety. Like...
This incredible Duramax-powered Chevy from the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
And this outstanding example of a correctly restored Chevrolet Apache.
And this trail-ready buggy.
SO WHAT'S NEXT? Well we'll be at the event all day Sunday shooting more features and action. If you see us say hi! Stay tuned, we're planning an Almost Live update Sunday evening.
