Well the annual SCORE Baja 500 race is upon us again.
As always I will be making the trek south of the Boarder to Ensanada to witness the action first hand and see if I can scoop up some type of story about the race.
To make things interesting this year, I'm planning to prerun the entire race course in our new Project Rhino to shake down the new Fabtech long travel suspension. I figure 500 miles of Baja's Brutal terrain should prove weather or not the new Fabtech kit would survive our more abusive readers. Gearing up the Rhino for the Prerun I added a Lowrance Baja 540 GPS unit, a single Baja Designs LED light, an amber rear dust light and a Parker Pumper fresh air system for myself and my co-driver.
