One of the most popular stories on our website in blogs has been about Ford's awesome upcoming Raptor truck...

With a huge amount of hits, it is clear that Ford has a future winner on their hands. Reader and web response for this particular product has been huge, with tons of questions and e-mails asking for more information. While it seems Ford has done a great job of quieting down the rumor mill since we first broke the story (here: "Code Name Raptor" and here: "F150 Raptor: An Urban Legend?" ), a handful of Raptor oriented enthusiast websites have popped up and we still get trickles of tips from time to time, such as the latest Raptor sightings (now wearing 2009 bodywork) and what people noticed when they saw the truck. Our biggest comment has been about how the Raptor program has hidden in plain sight, with only the M-plates giving them away as something other than a modified personal vehicle. Our latest information points to the Raptor program actually coming from within Ford's Special Vehicles Team and will be badged as an SVT vehicle, much like the old SVT Lightning, when it is finally released.
