Yep, we had the chance to test-drive the new Forester the other day out on Catalina Island, and while the rig's a mixed bag, performance-wise, here's what really impressed us. During the talking-head media gaggle that always precedes the test drive at these events, the hard-workin' Subaru PR guys gave us some good hard evidence of the Forry's utility by showing us how many granola bars you can fit in the cargo area: 4,590 of 'em. Hey, does this belong in the Guinness book, or what? Either way, ya gotta love a little sense of humor every now and then.
