1. Finally a V8 in the h3. So when is the h4 comming out, they could beat jeep to the punch. Great off road performance, small package, convertable, diesel engine. Im waiting.

2. Great! In my opinion it should have been FWOTY since it got the 3.7L. The V8 is great but not a big deal on the trails...

3. I agree HBH3. My favorite combo is the 3.7L/5-Speed for the trails, but the V-8 makes it a much more practical vehicle for all around use. Remember, I drove a 3.5L/5-Speed for a year out of our long term test fleet, so I have had experience with the 5-cyl. one of its best atributes is the ability to lug it down to 350rpm in Low without stalling.

5. I am not impressed with any of the new trucks! Why is that saying so true "it's not what you buy it is what you build" Why can car guys just but performance cars and us 4x4 nuts have to modify our trucks to get off road performance? I am sick of sticker and shock packages! I still think this H-3 is a princess! More marketing than actual performance! Why doesn't it have portal axles like the H-1? And what is with the rear axle set up? Spring under axles and low hanging springe & U bolts? I am happy to see for 2009 the Ford Rapture is going beyond marketing stickers and shocks to give us 12in of wheel travel!With 35in tires... A lot better than the miserable 8in of travel we are used to.Hopefully Ford has started a trend!
